RESERVATION: Reservations made with flexible rates can be canceled without penalty until 24h before arrival date. Reservations made with non refundable rates cannot be cancelled or modified (valid only for the original dates of booking).

REGISTRATION:  We require valid contact information from the main guest in the reservation including first and last name, phone number, email, zip code, and signature. The names of all guests occupying the room must be registered. Guests are required to confirm their identity by providing a valid government issued photo ID (State driver’s license, military ID, passport) at check-in. Guests must be 18 years and older. Room keys are issued only to registered guest(s).

PAYMENT: For reservations paid directly at the hotel we will hold upon arrival a deposit for: room, taxes, fees and 30% for estimated incidentals. For reservations with room and taxes prepaid, we require upon arrival an initial deposit of $100. Additional authorizations will be posted to the credit card on file according to the charges posted to the room. The hotel is not liable for the release of any credit card hold or for additional fees associated with the deposit. Should you use a debit card to register, your anticipated expenses for room, taxes, and 30% for estimated incidentals per day will be withheld from your checking account. The hotel will release any remaining hold upon check out, but the actual delay to release the remaining hold will vary depending on your financial institution. All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid major credit card. No gift cards can be accepted to be in file for incidentals. Cash can be used for payment upon departure, but a credit card must be swiped to be on file and hold a deposit during the guest stay.


PETS
: Pets are not allowed. We accept service animals.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY:  Maximum room occupancy is 2 for Deluxe and Premier King, and 4 for Deluxe and Premier Double.

SMOKE-FREE: The Hotel is 100% Smoke-Free (all guest rooms). Two designated Outdoors Smoking Areas are provided: at the courtyard between the hotel building and AquaVie Spa + Fitness Club; also by the Fountains on the 3rd floor. We charge a $350 fee in case of violation of the no smoking policy. No smoking of any kind (or vaping) is allowed in the guest rooms, including on the guest room balcony. Illegal narcotics use or any type of dangerous activity is not allowed on property and will result in immediate eviction

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reasons that do not violate Federal or State laws.

VISITORS: After 10:00 P.M. only registered guests are allowed in the rented guest rooms. No visitors are allowed after 10:00 P.M. Visitors must be accompanied by the registered guest at all times. Visitors are not allowed at the pool. An AquaVie day pass (including pool access) can be purchased at AquaVie Spa + Fitness Club.

DO-NOT DISTURB AND ACCESS TO ROOMS: Due to Covid-19, maid service is only available upon request. Please call and schedule service between 8 A.M. and 4 P.M. We kindly ask you not to be in the room at the scheduled time for service. Management reserves the right to enter a room with a known status of “do not disturb” for reasonable purposes, such as an emergency, welfare check, housekeeping or engineering maintenance, verify that the room, its furnishings, and mechanical equipment are intact, or to address or prevent a violation of our Hotel Policies.

FIREARMS AND WEAPONS: Firearms and Weapons are not permitted on hotel property.

NO IN-ROOM PARTY: We enforce a No In-Room Party Policy. No parties, loud disturbances and/or noise-nuisance are allowed or tolerated in our property. We have Quiet Hours after 10:00 P.M. Please respect the other guests. Please contact our Sales Department to inquire regarding venues for parties and social events.

DAMAGE AND/OR THEFT OF HOTEL PROPERTY:  You are financially liable and responsible for any damage caused by you or any other person or invitee in your party (whether or not staying at the hotel during your stay) as a result of any negligent, deliberate or reckless act to the hotel’s room(s), premises or other hotel property. The hotel reserves the right to charge you for the costs to repair or replace damaged or destroyed hotel property.

POOL: We do not allow the following inside the gated pool area: unregistered guests, pets, outside food or beverage, glassware, coolers, radios, smoking, vaping or use of any controlled substances.

CHANGES OR MODIFICATION TO THE HOTEL POLICY/HOUSE RULES: We reserve the right to amend, modify, change, cancel, or add to these Hotel Policies/Rules or content on our Hotel website at any time without prior notice.

AquaVie pool hours:

Daily 5 AM – 10 PM

Weather permitting. Hours of pool are subject to change or restriction.

We offer 24-hour valet parking for hotel guests and guests of our dining outlets in our secure and covered parking garage. Fees and restrictions apply. Overnight parking is $52 for hotel guests. Daily maximum parking rate is $60. For shorter visits, the first hour is $12, while every additional 30 minutes or part thereof is $6.00. The Westgate Room, Plaza Bar, and Afternoon Tea validate parking for three hours at a charge of $10.00, after which a fee of $12.00 per hour or part thereof applies.

A different rate may apply during The Westgate Hotel special events. There is no self-parking available.

The hotel has limited guest parking spaces accessible for electrical vehicle charging. We offer Level 2 Chargers, which support most electric vehicles. Please note Tesla vehicles require a Level 2 adaptor, which the Tesla owner shall provide in order to use the charging stations. Upon arrival, please inquire with valet parking attendants for assistance.

If you cancel your reservation more than 48 hours prior to check-in you will receive a full refund for your stay. Without penalty until 48 hours prior to 3 p.m. of the scheduled arrival day.

On certain reservations, a special cancellation may apply.

We offer complimentary Pack ‘n Plays. Please request a Pack ‘n Play during the booking process or contact guest services at 619-238-1818. We offer roll-away beds for $45 for duration of stay.

The Westgate Hotel offers dry cleaning and laundry services. Please place your garments in the plastic bag provided in your room along with a laundry request form. Laundry request form shows service options and pricing. Please notify housekeeping for collection. We can press items without sequins or heavy ornamentation. An iron and ironing board is provided in each guest room.

We do not offer airport transportation, but our Guest Services Department can assist you with setting up your transportation needs. Please contact us at 619-238-1818.

With the exception of Assistance Animals, The Westgate Hotel does not allow pets in guest rooms. Our concierge staff is happy to assist you in locating a suitable boarding facility near the hotel.

Upon check-in, all guests who book guest room reservation via third party pre-paid platforms receive an initial authorization on credit card for incidentals of $100. This is only a hold or pre authorization, and any variance will be refunded at check-out.

An extensive range of beautiful welcome gift baskets featuring Champagne, flowers and chocolates are available by calling 619-238-1818.

The main entrance to The Westgate Hotel is located on Second Avenue. During daylight hours an additional access point is located in the courtyard. Valet parking is located in front of the main entrance or in the parking garage.

The AquaVie Fitness + Wellness Club is located adjacent to The Westgate Hotel. It can be accessed from the courtyard or from 234 Broadway.

There are no ice machines on any of the guest room floors. There is one ice machine located in the lobby around the corner on the right-hand side of the front desk. For ice delivery, please call room service.

California law prohibits smoking inside public spaces. Guests can smoke on the Fountain Terrace on the third floor, or on the ground floor courtyard.

A mailbox is located on Second Avenue. There is a U.S. Post Office located across the street in Horton Plaza.

There is an ATM in the Grand Lobby located around the corner on the right-hand side of the front desk.

The Westgate Hotel is pleased to accept and store all packages according to the following guidelines.

• Recipients or authorized guests must be present to sign for deliveries.
• Due to limited storage space, the hotel will store packages no more than 3 days prior to arrival and one day after departure.
• The hotel is not responsible for packages that are damaged or stolen.
• The hotel does not accept Cash On Delivery (COD) packages.
• Packages must include:
– Shipper’s Name
– Shipper’s Telephone Number
– Arrival or Event Date
– Group/Meeting Name, if applicable
– Sales or Convention Services Manager, if applicable
