Jazz on the Terrace
This summer, the Fountain Terrace transforms into an intimate open-air stage, where Southern California’s most accomplished jazz musicians perform against the backdrop of the city’s iconic downtown skyline. Experience an evening of refined music, warm summer air, and elevated dining, all in one setting.
Tickets include a chef-crafted dinner buffet, a welcome glass of wine or champagne, and an evening of live jazz from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. With limited seating on the terrace, each performance offers an unhurried, intimate experience.
Performers:
Steve Kovalcheck, guitar; Jon Hamar, bass; and Jeff Hamilton, drums, bring decades of shared experience to a trio rooted in swing, blues, and melodic storytelling. Their music blends original compositions with imaginative arrangements, balancing deep tradition with spontaneity and discovery. Their debut recording, Buckshot Blues, captures the trio’s natural chemistry and conversational approach to making music.
