A founding member of the Afro Latin Jazz Punk Funk group\, the Afrojazziacs\, and a current member of the Soul Funk band JuiceBox\, he has shared stages and recordings with artists including The B Side Players\, members of The Mars Volta\, and The Spanish Harlem Orchestra. Classically trained under Cleveland Orchestra principal flutist Maurice Sharp\, she has built a decades-long career recording with jazz greats such as Ray Brown and Terell Stafford\, releasing 13 albums as a bandleader on Capri Records. A longtime San Diego resident\, she has curated six jazz series over the past thirty years and was honored with a Jazz Hero Award\, with the city proclaiming an official Holly Hofmann Day in her name. \nLouis Valenzuela is a versatile San Diego-based guitarist performing throughout Southern California and Mexico. A founding member of the Afro Latin Jazz Punk Funk group\, the Afrojazziacs\, and a current member of the Soul Funk band JuiceBox\, he has shared stages and recordings with artists including The B Side Players\, members of The Mars Volta\, and The Spanish Harlem Orchestra. Beyond guitar\, he plays Cuban tres and Persian oud\, and holds a B.M. in Jazz Studies from San Diego State University.
