DESCRIPTION:Holly Hofmann is a celebrated jazz flutist who discovered the genre at age five\, playing alongside her guitarist father. Classically trained under Cleveland Orchestra principal flutist Maurice Sharp\, she has built a decades-long career recording with jazz greats such as Ray Brown and Terell Stafford\, releasing 13 albums as a bandleader on Capri Records. A longtime San Diego resident\, she has curated six jazz series over the past thirty years and was honored with a Jazz Hero Award\, with the city proclaiming an official Holly Hofmann Day in her name. \nLouis Valenzuela is a versatile San Diego-based guitarist performing throughout Southern California and Mexico. A founding member of the Afro Latin Jazz Punk Funk group\, the Afrojazziacs\, and a current member of the Soul Funk band JuiceBox\, he has shared stages and recordings with artists including The B Side Players\, members of The Mars Volta\, and The Spanish Harlem Orchestra. Beyond guitar\, he plays Cuban tres and Persian oud\, and holds a B.M. in Jazz Studies from San Diego State University.

DESCRIPTION:Holly Hofmann is a celebrated jazz flutist who discovered the genre at age five\, playing alongside her guitarist father. Classically trained under Cleveland Orchestra principal flutist Maurice Sharp\, she has built a decades-long career recording with jazz greats such as Ray Brown and Terell Stafford\, releasing 13 albums as a bandleader on Capri Records. A longtime San Diego resident\, she has curated six jazz series over the past thirty years and was honored with a Jazz Hero Award\, with the city proclaiming an official Holly Hofmann Day in her name. \nLouis Valenzuela is a versatile San Diego-based guitarist performing throughout Southern California and Mexico. A founding member of the Afro Latin Jazz Punk Funk group\, the Afrojazziacs\, and a current member of the Soul Funk band JuiceBox\, he has shared stages and recordings with artists including The B Side Players\, members of The Mars Volta\, and The Spanish Harlem Orchestra. Beyond guitar\, he plays Cuban tres and Persian oud\, and holds a B.M. in Jazz Studies from San Diego State University.

DESCRIPTION:Mikan Zlatkovich is an American virtuoso jazz pianist with a distinguished career spanning decades. Born a musical prodigy in the former Yugoslavia\, Mikan started his professional jazz career as a teenager\, his immense talent quickly recognized by top musicians\, audiences\, and critics alike. Exposed to jazz early on by his father\, a local jazz guitarist\, Mikan pursued bigger musical challenges in the early ’90s\, first in New York and later in San Diego. His broad repertoire spans the Great American Songbook\, jazz and blues standards\, classic ballads\, pop\, rhythm & blues\, funk\, Bossa Nova\, and Samba classics. No two performances are ever the same\, as Mikan’s music continues to evolve through his ongoing search for new creative possibilities.
