DESCRIPTION:Adam Wolff’s musical journey began at age eight\, when he started ten years of classical piano training in Ithaca\, New York\, studying performance\, theory\, and creative expression. Raised between New York and Chicago\, he returned to Manhattan in the 1980s\, spending years playing music full time in the city. After relocating to San Diego in the 1990s\, Adam performed with a wide range of groups\, from jazz to popular dance music to creative expression ensembles. His playing carries the hallmarks of hard swinging\, soulful improvisation\, no matter who he’s sharing the stage with. Today\, the Adam Wolff Trio performs regularly at the Westgate Hotel\, joined by a rotating lineup of San Diego’s finest jazz bassists and drummers. Together they deliver an exciting mix of jazz classics\, standards\, blues-based grooves\, and jazz-inflected pop\, creating an intimate atmosphere reminiscent of the New York clubs where Adam got his start.

DESCRIPTION:Roman Palacios is a San Diego native whose lifelong love of music began at just seven years old\, when a school choir opportunity from his third-grade teacher set him on his vocal journey. After years away from performing\, he found his way to San Diego’s Red Fox Room in 1996\, where he honed his craft alongside pianist and vocalist Shirley Allen and her band. In 1999\, a chance meeting with international tenor Daniel Hendrick introduced Roman to Bel Canto operatic training\, unlocking new dimensions in his vocal ability and launching him into performances at upscale restaurants\, hotels\, and concert venues. Drawing inspiration from icons like Frank Sinatra\, Dean Martin\, Bing Crosby\, and Tony Bennett\, as well as classical greats such as Pavarotti and Caruso\, Roman has developed a warm\, smooth\, and commanding vocal style reminiscent of the golden age of American standards and the Great American Songbook. Since 2009\, he has performed alongside acclaimed jazz pianist Tommy Gannon\, a partnership that began at Via Lago restaurant and has since become one of San Diego’s most sought-after musical pairings\, known for its chemistry\, charisma\, and playful stage presence. Roman’s charm\, comedic timing\, and refined musicality have made him a true entertainer in every sense of the word.
