Directions from the Airport & Train Depot
A taxi ride from either the San Diego International Airport or the Amtrak Train Depot to The Westgate Hotel is quite reasonable. The Westgate Hotel provides complimentary shuttle service from the airport and train depot. Departure service from the hotel to the airport or train depot is now $5, children under 12 are free. Reservations are not required in advance. When you arrive at the airport or train depot please call the hotel operator at (619) 238-1818 to request an airport/train depot pick up then proceed to the shuttle area:

East Terminal or Terminal #1 (Southwest, TWA, United, United Shuttle, US Air, Alaska, AeroMexico, Mark Air, Morris Air):
Take overhead crosswalk to the pickup area, wait at the first island, you will see rental car vehicles picking up there as well, then look for a black Ford E-350 van 10 to 15 minutes after the hour or half hour.

West Terminal or Terminal #2 (American, Delta,

Commuter Terminal (Alaska Commuter, American Eagle, Continental Connection, Delta Connection, Northwest Airlink, Skywest, US Air Express):
Step out of the baggage claim area to the curb and look for a black Ford E-350 van 10 to 15 minutes after the hour or half hour.

Amtrak Train Depot:
Step out of the baggage claim area to the curb and look for a black Ford E-350 van 10 to 15 minutes after the hour or half hour.

Driving Directions to the Hotel
From North on I-5:
Take Front Street/Civic Center exit, take the Front Street ramp (on right hand side), make a left on Broadway, make another left on Second Avenue, hotel entrance is on the right hand side.

From South on I-5:
Take Sixth Avenue Exit south (left), turn right on Broadway, right on Second Avenue, hotel entrance is on the right hand side.

From North on Highway 163:
Exit to downtown, turn right on Broadway, right on Second Avenue, hotel entrance is on the right hand side.

From East on Highway 94:
Continue until freeway becomes F Street, right on Fifth Avenue, left on Broadway. After three blocks, turn right on Second Avenue, hotel entrance is on the right hand side.

From Airport:
Exit airport and follow signs to Downtown (east on Harbor Drive), left on Broadway, left on Second Avenue, hotel entrance is on the right hand side.

Directions to Hotel Parking:
Proceed to end of Second Avenue and turn right immediately before trolley tracks, ignoring the "Left turn only" signs (it is OK to turn right if turning into the hotel). Proceed down the ramp to the valet desk.

Parking:
We offer 24 hour valet parking for hotel and dining guests on the Lower Lobby level. Overnight parking is $27 for hotel guests. For shorter visits the first hour is $8, every additional 30 minutes is $2.00, with a daily maximum of $30. Le Grand Café and the Plaza Bar validate parking for two hours. Le Fontainebleau validates parking for three hours. There is no self parking available.
