The Westgate presents a festive French tradition of celebrating Beaujolais Nouveau with California style and flair. Enjoy this French custom, when new wine is quaffed with much merriment and fanfare. Classic country French fare is paired with Georges du Boeuf Beaujolais Nouveau. Beaujolais Nouveau is produced from gamay grape in the Beaujolais region of France. The most popular “ Vin de primeur” fermented for just a few weeks, then officially released for sale on the 3rd Thursday of November.

Nutcracker Tree Lighting

Experience a spectacle of lights as you enter the Grand Lobby where you will be greeted by a stately 14 foot tree decorated with nutcrackers and more than a thousand lights. Holiday revelers sample eggnog, spice mulled wine, hot cocoa, holiday cookies such as pumpkin spice, almond macaroons, chocolate truffles and other treats while listening to traditional holiday caroling. Enjoy a sneak preview of California's Ballet’s performance of Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker. It’s the Season of Giving! Please bring an unwrapped toy for Toys For Tots.

Teddy Bear Teas

Spend a magical afternoon with Santa Claus and one of his little elves and start your holiday tradition at the Westgate Hotel with our annual Teddy Bear Teas.
